As the Founder of Nefzawa City and Director of Programs at Nefzawa, I have had the opportunity to apply my skills in communication and marketing to create and develop innovative initiatives. My vision for Nefzawa City was to create an inclusive and dynamic environment that fosters entrepreneurship and local economic development. As an expert in communication and marketing, I have developed effective strategies to promote Nefzawa City, attract talented entrepreneurs, and engage the local community. My commitment to transparent and authentic communication has strengthened relationships with stakeholders and helped establish Nefzawa City’s reputation as a hub of innovation and opportunity. As Director of Programs at Nefzawa, I have worked closely with entrepreneurs to support them at every stage of their journey. From the initial launch of their businesses to the growth phase and even during challenging times of crisis management, I have brought my expertise to guide, advise, and help them overcome obstacles. My passion for entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development has led me to specialize in supporting entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of inclusive management and effective communication in business success. My professional journey reflects my commitment to innovation, collaboration, and supporting entrepreneurs who are shaping a prosperous future for our community.

Director of International Affairs at the German Association for Waste Management (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Abfallwirtschaft DGAW e.V.), Berlin
Ludwig studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt and holds a PhD in political science and public law. He has been working as a consultant since 2002. In 2010, he has been involved in economic projects, international waste management and circular economy initiatives, as well as research. His clients come from both the private and public sectors, ranging from municipalities to the EU level.
Ludwig has worked with partners in North Africa and West Asia. His current areas of focus include industrial needs for closing product life cycle loops and waste streams, green hydrogen production, and market entry strategies for North African experts in Germany. Throughout his career, he has frequently been involved in market entry aspirations of companies and entrepreneurs from non-EU countries

With extensive expertise in Cooperation and Development Programs, Malek Hajji has played a pivotal role in strengthening Tunisia’s Programs on economic and social resilience. By providing technical expertise for numerous pilot programs focused on governance, economic development, and social inclusion, she promoted dialogue with civil society and ensured the inclusion of vulnerable populations. Notably, she developed the “National Strategy for Rural Women by 2030” for the Ministry of Women, Family, Childhood, and Seniors, significantly boosting the economic security and stability of rural women. Through designing and implementing impactful projects with donors, NGOs, and the private sector, Malek has improved operational efficiency and beneficiary satisfaction.

Aida Robbana
Expert in International Economics, Sustainable Development, and UN Program Management
Aida Robbana holds a degree from the Higher Institute of Trade and Business of Carthage (IHEC) in Tunisia and a PhD in International Economics and Management from Paris IX Dauphine University.
She worked as an economist at EUROSTATS in Paris for three years, then for 7 years in an urban planning consultancy in Tunisia, where she operated as a senior economist.
Then, she joined the United Nations in Tunisia, where she oversaw the Resident Coordinator’s office, and was in charge of monitoring and implementing the operations and programs of the 17 UN Agencies with the Tunisian government.
Aida speaks 5 languages; during her career, she has supported the country offices of the United Nations and UNDP, on the themes of Results-Based Management, human rights, theory of change and design thinking for development.
In January 2020, she joined the UNDP Tunisia office as Program Specialist for the integration of sustainable development objectives and innovation.
Since February 1st, 2021, Aida has joined UN-Habitat as Head of the office in Tunisia and Libya.
