One event that changes everything: Nefzawa City unlocks new horizons for Kebili’s Higher Institute of Technological Studies.

Above all, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the family of the Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Kebili—administration, professors, students, and staff—our very first and strongest supporters, who believed in this event from day one as a true foundation of strength. A special thanks as well to the Nefzawa City team, our partners, and everyone who trusted in this vision, which is set to become a powerful driver of change for our society.

Nefzawa City boosts Kebili’s Higher Institute: +500 new students after just two editions.

Who could have imagined that a cultural and economic event like Nefzawa City would, in just two years, turn into a true driving force for promoting one of the region’s most important scientific institutions? The result: nearly 500 new students enrolled at the Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Kebili following the event’s second edition.

These figures are not mere statistics, but a living testimony to the power of an idea when combined with collective work and creativity. Since the very first edition, held in the Institute’s hall, Nefzawa City has planted small seeds to promote the institution seeds that have grown into a flourishing tree, benefiting students, professors, staff, and the local community alike.

Nefzawa City was more than just a platform for products and cultural performances. It spotlighted the Institute’s central role in driving development and creativity. The media amplified its impact, investors found in it a strategic partner, and culture surrounded it with a glow of recognition and vitality. In no time, the Institute rose to become a flagship brand, synonymous with innovation and an open future.

What sets Nefzawa City apart is its rigor and organization, grounded in a clear vision and strategy aimed at promoting fair and inclusive development in the region. The event highlights all local energies and skills youth, women, and institutions making Kebili a living model of creativity, rooted in identity yet open to the world.

One of the standout features of Nefzawa City is its pioneering role in bridging students to professional life. In the first edition, 26 students helped organize and prepare the event, growing to 71 in the second edition. This hands-on experience allowed students to build skills, gain real-world organizational and professional exposure, explore the professional landscape, and take on tasks demanding responsibility, planning, and creativity.

Today, as we reflect on these numbers and the transformations they represent, we can only say: wonder is justified, pride is deserved. Nefzawa City has shown that events are more than temporary gatherings they can drive real social, economic, and scientific change when thoughtfully planned and executed.

Key message: when ambition meets vision, even a small town can achieve extraordinary impact beyond all expectations.
