On Monday, February 8th 2025, Nefzawa held a press conference for the second edition of the international event Nefzawa City at its headquarters. The event was attended by several local and regional media institutions and was overseen by the Nefzawa team, represented by Ms. Mabrouka Jeballah, Editor-in-Chief, and Mr. Ahmed Amri, Deputy Director. Also present were key stakeholders and event partners, including the Regional Delegation for Agricultural Development in Kebili, represented by Mr. Ibrahim Jelouli, and Mr. Hassan Ben Salah, Director of Studies at the Higher Institute of Technological Studies in Kebili.
The Editor-in-Chief opened the conference with an introductory speech, providing an overview of the first edition of the event and highlighting its contribution to enhancing the region’s visibility on both national and international levels. She emphasized the event’s role in the fields of media, entrepreneurship, and culture, and their connection to technology, for his part, the Deputy Director of Nefzawa announced that the second edition would host more than 3,000 participants from various incubating institutions, public and private organizations, civil society, and national and international institutions. He also underlined the event’s impact on the increasing number of students at the Higher Institute of Technological Studies in the region.
The representative of the Agricultural Delegation praised the event, highlighting its role in promoting development in the region and stressing the importance of collaboration and teamwork to achieve its objectives of comprehensive development. Similarly, the Director of Studies at the institute commended the scale of the event, describing it as high-level and internationally recognized. He noted that it fostered a positive spirit and an inspiring environment, particularly for students, encouraging creativity and innovation.
The conference also featured contributions from local and regional journalists, who provided insights aimed at further developing the event and ensuring its sustainability through future strategies.
